Fridge is warm, freezer cold

How long will my food stay safe if the fridge stops cooling?
Keep the doors shut as much as you can. Food safety guidance says a closed refrigerator holds a safe temperature for about four hours, and a full freezer much longer. If you are not sure about an item, it is safer to throw it out.
Should I unplug the refrigerator before you come?
If it is still cooling a little, leave it running. If it is making a loud clicking noise or the back feels very hot, unplugging it is reasonable, and you can tell us that when you call.
Is there anything I can check myself first?
Make sure the unit is plugged in and the breaker has not tripped. Check that the temperature dial was not bumped and that nothing is blocking the air vents inside. Please leave the back panels on.
Do you work on the ice maker in my refrigerator too?
Yes. Tell us if the ice maker has also stopped, since a warm freezer and a failed ice maker are often linked. We look at both in the same visit.

Taghi was so very helpful to my family! Our washing machine was full of water and I tried everything I could think of, but I could not get the water to drain.
